Senior Awards,Graduation, Promotion, and Baptism, oh my!

Last week was a crazy long week for my family!

Wednesday was spent at the high school for Senior Awards night! We went to support my brother and were very surprised and happy for the awards he recieved. The one I enjoyed the most was the boy athlete for the year!! (Just because I also got it my senior year) so it was fun to get to share that experience with him, and we both recieved it from our dad which made it that much better!!

Thursday night was graduation!! Ahh I couldn't believe my baby brother was graduating!! It seems like only yesterday we were playing baseball together. He has changed so much, and I am so happy and proud of the young man he is turning into! He may not being going to college but he is going to do the thing that is best for him, and I can't wait to see what he does in the future.

Friday my cousin Ana had her 8th grade promotion! It is crazy to think how much she has grown, and that she is going to be a freshman!! I remember helping her with softball, babysitting her, and tons of family memories. I am so excited to see how she takes on the next four years of her life as a high school student!! I can't wait to watch her grow into a wonderful young women, and see how much she will change and be an example to her younger sisters.

Saturday my cousin Taya chose to be baptised. What an expereince that was! I am so proud of the spunky, fun, loving, girl she is turning into. She has, and most likely always will go to the beat of her own drum, she is fearless, and not afraid to be different. Taya has taught me so much the last year of living in Moab, that I am so grateful she is my cousin. She is going to do great things with her life, whether it be an example to her family, a loving friend, or whatever else she has the drive to be!

Last week was a busy fun filled week of memories with my family! We fight at times, and there are times I get so annyoed with my family, but I would do anything for them!

Catch up Jan. 2015-March 2015

Well its been a while since I've caught you guys up with what's been going on in our lives!

January:
Landon and I weren't very busy this month. We just have been continuing to adjust to our new lives in Moab and taking it day by day! I'm still working at the elementary school and it has been a great experience! I've learned so much from the teachers I work with and have a plan to switch to WGU this summer to finish up my elementary education degree! By the looks of it I will be done in 1-2 years, and I'm so excited to be that much closer to my career!!!! Landon is still working with Mountainland in Monticello and things are surprisingly busy for this time of the year!

February:
We weren't very busy this month either! I think the most exciting thing that happened was the Patriots won the Super bowl!!!!!!!!! It was such a good game and a real nail bitter. We watched the first half with my parents, brother, Taya, Elsie, and my grandparents over at my parents' house. We decided to come home and watch the last half I case if the Patriots lost, which it looked that way as the second half started. We were sure the Seahawks were going to win, but thank goodness for Malcom Butler (: Its safe to say we are going to keep some our traditions going once the season starts back up, which we are excited for because our lives are boring without football.

March:
This month was a little more exciting for us! Landon turned 23, Taya turned 8, and my grandma Karmen and Grandpa both had birthdays too! We ended up doing one big birthday party for them all! It was fun getting all of our family together to celebrate.
I also had to end up getting glasses because my vision has gotten so bad on my right eye due to the fact I was hit with a Frisbee when I was 12. Well that damage finally caught up with me and I will eventually have to have surgery on it but for now I'll stick with the glasses!

So maybe our lives haven't been too exciting but I wouldn't change my life for anything! I have a great husband that loves me and treats me better than I ever thought I could be treated, and even though not much has happened in our lives the last few months, I wouldn't want anyone else to walk through this crazy thing we call life!

Christmas 2014!

Landon and I had a great Christmas!!!! We spent Christmas eve and day with my family.

This year we started a new tradition with my family. Its basically deal or no deal but way better! This helped with the whole having to buy everyone a gift, and also made it a fun game to play. We all walked away with the money in our envelope and split the discarded ones up evenly. We liked it so much we are going to continue doing it.
We also kept a lot of the same traditions, getting together with my grandma Dolphin, cousins, and all the rest of our family. We eat snacks and watch the famous Christmas Story marathon.
After we got back home Landon and I decided to kept our tradition up of opening up all our presents!!!! This year we ended up getting each other patriots stuff (which was pretty funny)
Christmas day was spent at my grandparents cabin where we ate Christmas dinner, opened presents, and built a snowman.

We then spent the weekend with Landon's parents and of course Dillon and Justin and some of the other kids Landon went to school with. The weekend was filled with fun times and memories. We spent the time relaxing and catching up with family and friends.
Oh and one more thing Landon bought his first gun and we spent Sunday shooting it. So I would have to say we had a great Christmas filled with love, family, and friends.

Can't wait to see what 2015 has to offer!!

Enjoy some pictures

2nd Year Anniversary! (few months late)

Wow it is crazy to think two years have already went by since Landon and I got married! We spent our second anniversary in Moab! It was a blast because we got to spend it with Landon's best friends and my family.
We got to participate in the Relay for life in Moab. Which I was very excited for since I haven't got to be apart of Relay for a while. And it was fun to go support my mom and Dillon.

So much has changed since Landon and I met! I've learned more about him and continue to love him more and more everyday which I never thought was possible!

I'm so lucky to have found and married my best friend at such a young age! I never imagined I would find such a caring, loving, hard working man. And I'm grateful for everything he does for me and the both of us! I can't wait to see how the rest of our future plays out.

Playing catch up!

Since Landon and I have moved to Moab our lives have been super busy!!!! Landon drives to Monticello during the week for work. He likes it but we will see when it starts snowing. I work at HMK as a sever special ed TA. And I love it!!!! I've learned so much and getting to sit in classrooms and observe teachers and pick up on techniques I would like to use after I get my Elementary education degree. On top of working full time I am also going to school full time. People ask me how I do it and I honestly have no clue but I love what I do and it makes me want to get done with school sooner!!!!

We finally found our own place and have started to move in and its taken a few weeks because Landon and I have such crazy schedules. But I'm happy to finally have our own place!!!! And I'm very grateful for my parents letting us live with them for the past few months but I'm happy that we will have our own place!

I'm excited to see what the future has for us!

New Beginning!

Landon and I have lived in Richfield for the past two years but that is soon going to change for us. Landon works for a company called Mountainland and they have branches in St. George, Orem, Richfield and Monticello. A couple of weeks ago he was offered to work at the Monticello branch as the assistant manager, be put on salary, get a good percentage of commission of what the store makes and a company vehicle. I am so proud of him because this is what he has been working so hard to do. He has wanted to move up in the company and being 22 years old and being asked to be an assistant manager is a great accomplishment.

So we finally came to the decision to accept the job offer!!!!!!! And I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives. We will be moving to Moab August 22. We are both very excited but also nervous to be taking a huge step.

Be sure to stay tuned for the many adventures to come!

Christmas time 2013

Well it's time to play catch up! The whole month of December was a crazy time for Landon and I. I had my finals the second week of December and then we headed off to Cali for Disneyland with my family (the previous post)

When we got home we then spent two days in Richfield and then were back on the road to go to Ogden for Landon's grandma's Christmas party!! It was great spending time with Landon's parents and all of his family. We spent the night in Layton and then headed back to Richfield for one night and then went to Moab for Christmas.

We spent a week in Moab! It was filled with fun times with my parents, my brother and Shailee (Ronnie's girlfriend), my sister, cousins, my aunt Vanessa and Uncle Jared, my aunt Val, and my grandparents. It was a lot of fun spending time with them and just relaxing. The rest of the week we spent watching Law and Order with my parents (getting them hooked) And spending Jordan's 19th birthday with her!

But with how fun the month of December was for us it was also super busy and lots of time spent away from home.... I am thankful for all the vacation days Landon had so that we could do all the fun things we did to finish out the year.

But we were ready to be home and were sick of living out of suit cases and let me tell you the laundry sucked!!! (makes me wonder how bad it will be when we have kids)

With how crazy December was and how much I just wanted to be home, it made me apprecaite all the people in my life! I have some great parents, siblings and in-laws as well as many great friends!!! I love all of them and am very grateful for everything they do for us all year round!

Here is to a great New Year!! Bring on 2014!
