Don Baby's 18th Birthday!!

Today is my sisters 18th birthday!! It sure doesn't seem like she should be that old! I am amazed with the young lady she has turned out to be. We have been through so much together that I wouldn't change a thing! I love her very much and I can truly say she is one of my dearest friends! 

She has been there for everything that has happened in my life! Through all the tears, laughs, memories, she knows my deepest secrets! I know I can go to her for anything!

I am so glad we got to spend a year in High School together! And we even got to cheer together. And she also managed softball so we got to even experience a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP together! And if you guys know Jordan she isn't into the whole sports but getting to cheer and have her apart of the softball team was some of my best memories! 

Now Jordan may not be as athletic but she is so smart! I have always been so jealous of how easy things come to her and how intelligent she is~ and I know she is going to go far in her life because of it!

First Christmas

Our first Christmas as a married couple was AMAZING!!

1. I got to experience a white Christmas! (: 

        2. I have an amazing husband that didn't ask what I wanted but listened to what I said I would like!

      
He got me a new water proof camera and cake/cupcake decorating tools!!  

3. I got him some new arrows for his bow! A wireless head set for his XBOX 360 and NBA2K13 video game! (:

4. We got to spend the weekend with my family and exchange gifts early. And we got new clothes, Landon got the Black Ops 2, and I got my new leather jacket I've been wanting!! 

5. Landon's parents gave us these passes for seven peaks, blaze games, bees games, Ute events as well as other fun things to do up north! We are pretty excited for them! And I can't wait to take Landon to his first arena football game (:

6. Also we got to spend some time with Landon's friend Dillon while he was down from school! And those two together its always an adventure (: lots of XBOX games!

I am very grateful for the amazing family and friends Landon and I have! They have helped make this a great year! And I can't wait to see what 2013 has to bring to us all (:

One amazing guy

It amazes me that Landon and I have known each other for over a year now! And he is still a complete gentlemen.. A few things he still does is:

1. Opens the door for me where ever we go! I'm not allowed to touch any door handle. If I do he makes me go back inside or out of the car, ect. So that he can do it for me! 

2. He still treats me like a princess! Always making sure I am doing ok. About once to every other week he buys me my favorite ice cream! (Ben & Jerrys Phish Food) if I've had a bad day. 

3. He also always remembers to kiss me goodbye before he leaves for work! And always gives me a hug and kiss when he gets home.

4. He also helps with some housework which is surprising to me. He offers to help do laundry. (Even if he hates the folding and putting away) 

I don't know if I tell him how much I appreciate him because he does so much for me. He truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me! He is the definition of a true gentlemen. I know that everyone says that about their husbands but for me he is the best! He always encourages me to follow my heart! And I can't wait to see what the years will bring with him in my life!  

First few weeks!

Wedding day! 8-10-12

The Wedding Party

 To start off we had so many people that helped make our day amazing! Thank you to some of the high school football players, Landon's family, My family, Crystal and Joe Lema, The Daltons, Olivia and Justin Watts, Shanea Downard, Dillon Bishoff and Justing Mecham, and any others that I have forgot! Everyone helped make our Wedding EXACTLY how we wanted it! I also want to thank everyone for helping move our ceremony to The Grand Center when it began to pour. Everything turned out Amazing!! And with the rain it gave us good luck and many good years of marriage to come :)) (so I've been told!) 

 Next we went on our Honeymoon to Ouray Colorado! Which was amazing because its nothing like you've ever seen before. Even though I've been there a few times it was nice to bring Landon! We went swimming everyday!!!! Even a couple times while it was raining.. We went to the Box Canyon. Walked around the town. And even got caught in a huge thunderstorm, which we ended up running back to our hotel! The weather would be raining one minute and then completely sunny the next and we both loved the cool weather. Never got above 80.

When we came back from our Honeymoon we came to Richfield (where we are currently living.) And then we had our open house in Monroe. It was a lot of fun and Landon's mom and her friends did a great job! It was so fun to see similar themes between the wedding and the open house. 

Then reality set in and its been really good so far! It's been so nice to be able to spend time together. One thing I love is that we are seeing each other everyday instead of just on the weekends. It hasn't really set in that we are married but I've heard that changes within six months. I am so happy and excited to see where life takes us together! 

 

One Week!!

I can't believe that exactly one week from today I get to marry my best friend! It seemed like it would never come this fast when Landon proposed to me back in March. The last five months have been the most stressful, exciting, upsetting, as well as every other emotion in the book...

But with the family and friends that we've had help us its kept me sane! There is no way I could have made it without Joelyn Dalton, Crystal Lema, my parents, Olivia Watts, Jordan Dolphin, my Aunt Vanessa, all of Landon's family! As well as everyone else that has helped along the way!! :))

Next Friday is going to be the best day of my life with my best friend! I can't wait to see how everything turns out and how mine and Landon's future will be...

Bridal Showers!

The last two weekends I had bridal showers thrown for me in Monroe and Moab. I am so lucky to have such a great support/friend/family group to give me two showers! 

The one in Monroe was a lot of fun because I got to meet some more of Landon's family as well as their family friends. Allison's (Landon's mom) friend put together a great shower at her house with her two girls! Raelee is so good at throwing showers/parties. She is super creative and a very outgoing personality!

Last weekend we had the bridal shower here in Moab! It was so much fun to see some of my friends and catch up! As well as to see Landon's mom, aunt and grandma again and be able to introduce them to people. I also got to see lots of close family friends as well as family members...

Again I am so very grateful to have the people I do in my life! I wouldn't be the person I am today without the many great families that I have in my life. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Landon and I.

The Day before You....

Well the wedding is 57 days away and I feel like everything won't get done in time. Stressing over little things.. but I can't help it.. Even though I feel so pressed for time I know that I have an amazing guy that loves and adores me! That we have family and friends helping us along the way! :)) And I am so grateful to have the people I do in my life! I wouldn't be where I was today without any of them! 

Landon is amazing! I have been really crabby and upset the last few days due to work and stress... but he has been amazing through it all! He constantly is trying to make me smile and laugh when sometimes it seems impossible. He does such a good job at making me feel better  with being three hours away from each other. Its hard but I know that he loves me and would do anything for me! He has shown me how to love myself and that I am an amazing person which he reminds me everyday!! I love all our inside jokes and the fact he is the only one that can make me smile when I am down. I don't know where I would be without him! And I can't wait to be married to my best friend in 57 days! :)) 

I know that life is going to throw obstacles in our way but together we will over come anything with each other and the help of our family and friends that have been there through a ton with us! :) And I am grateful and way appreciative of what everyone has done for us!!!!

I have learned that no matter how stressed out I get that I have people that love me and care for who I am! And always.... push me....

Experience of a Lifetime!

I had the opportunity to be an extra in Will Smith's new movie called After Earth! I was a cadet and worked all five days they were here in Moab. Some of the many things I got to experience were:

1. See how much time and effort goes into making a movie! You shoot all day and only get about 15 seconds of the movie. Waking up at four-six in the morning and then not getting done till five-six at night. Makes me apperciate movies more!

2. A lot of the people were from L.A. and to see the different culture was amazing! They all commented on how I was so young to be getting married soon when they all wait three, four years of being with someone! Another thing was the night life.. and let me tell you these people loved to PARTY!! They were always making comments about how soon the bars closed.

3. I got to experience getting my hair and make up done everyday! And it was so relaxing and something I would get use to! Also they fed us amazing food such as; steak, salmon, pasta bars and many other things.

4. Last I got to meet Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Isabelle Fuhrman! They were so much fun to work with! Us girls helped teach Isabelle how to skip rocks.. And Will Smith is such a funny guy! As well as awesome to be around.  And he told me Happy Birthday! :)) Which made it the BEST birthday yet!

This experience is one that I will never forget! I got to meet tons of people and have the opportunity to be in a movie. I would not consider this a career but wouldn't mind being a stunt man! :)) But who knows the possibilities of things, dreams, etc

I'm one lucky girl

I am one lucky girl because......

1st I have the best guy for me! Landon treats me with repsect, and tells me how much he loves me and is always reminding me of why he fell in love with me! He still opens the door after 8 months of dating and I love it!

2nd he came down this last weekend and I barely saw him because I have been working on a movie called After Earth with Will Smith and Jaden Smith and it has been a great experience that I am glad I get to be apart of. But Landon was a trooper and spent lots of time with my family while I was gone.

3rd I have a family that loves me for me and is always pushing me to achieve my dreams.. they push me farther than I think I can go and I wouldn't change a thing.

There are many other reasons why I am one lucky girl! But this last weekend has helped me to see it more and more. I love my life and the people in it. Everyone has touched me in some way to strenghten me as a person.. they have been there through my ups and downs. Showed me how to show love for others. That I can achieve anything I put my mind to.

And always remember and thank the great influences you have in your life because they will always push you to...... Always.......

It's been awhile

Well hello! It's been a long time since I have shared what's going on in my life!!

1. I just finished my second year of college! :) and am moved home until Aug...

2. I got engaged in March to the best guy I have ever been with! And we are getting married in Moab on August 10 :)) I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with Landon Leavitt! He makes me happier than any other guy I have been with! My family adores him..Ronnie loves having someone to play video games with as well as other things.. Jordan has grown to like him more and more! Which is a huge accomplishment!

3. Wedding planning has been a pain due to venues not working out... I have joked around about just heading to Vegas but Landon assures me I would regret that, which coming from a boy means something.

So basically that is all I can think of that has happened the last few months! Hoping to be better about this whole blogging situation!
